Tumbling Classes at ADE Elite

  • All ADE Elite Athletics tumbling classes are $75/month ($65/month for ADE Athletes). An annual $75 registration fee is required. The annual fee is waived if it has already been paid for participation in another ADE Elite Athletics program.

  • Our Tots Tumbling Class introduces your little one to the world of tumbling and cheer-based movement through age-appropriate drills, games, and obstacle courses. This class helps build coordination, listening skills, strength, and confidence in a playful and supportive environment.

    Skills Introduced:

    • Forward rolls

    • Bear crawls & crab walks

    • Basic jumps & hops

    • Beginner handstands with support

    • Motor skill development

  • Level 1 focuses on foundational tumbling technique and body awareness. This class is great for first-time tumblers or those working to clean up their basics before advancing.

    Skills Taught:

    • Forward/backward rolls

    • Cartwheel, round-off

    • Handstand to bridge, bridge kickover

    • Backbend, backbend kickover

    • Intro to back walkovers and handstand shaping

    • Standing & running back walkovers

    • Valdez, switch leg walkovers

    • Handstand drills

    • BWO-BWO series

  • Level 2 is designed for athletes who have mastered the basics and are ready to begin more dynamic tumbling with a focus on power and proper technique.

    Skills Taught:

    • Back handspring drills & trampoline work

    • Back handspring (spotted & independent)

    • BWO-BHS & step-out entries

    • Toe touch-BHS drills

    • Round-off-BHS progressions

    • Intro to power tumbling

    • Standing 2x BHS

    • Round-off-BHS series

    • Toe touch–BHS

  • This class is for experienced tumblers who are progressing into or mastering intermediate to advanced skills. Each athlete works at their level with coach support.

    • Whips, punch fronts, aerials

    • Front handspring through tuck

  • Prerequisite: Strong Back Walkover
    Description: Dedicated time to master standing and running back handsprings.
    Skills Taught:

    • Handstand snap-downs

    • Round-off-BHS

    • BWO–BHS combinations

    • Standing BHS drills

    • Trampoline and wedge work

  • Prerequisite: Round-off BHS and Standing Back Handspring (unassisted)
    Description: Focuses on teaching and refining the standing and running back tuck.
    Skills Taught:

    • Round-off back tuck

    • Standing back tuck

    • Round-off BHS tuck

    • Rebounding & body control drills

    • Core and leg power development
